Backstreet’s back…all right??
You’ve gotta give these guys credit for pushing along. Despite the fact that their heyday was a decade ago, BSB continues to make records. Their fan base may have shrunk considerably, but one still exists (yeah, I don’t get it either), and the foursome is back on the scene with a new song called “Straight Through My Heart”.
Although they’re definitely hopping on a bandwagon-production is handled by RedOne, who is most famous for helming Lady Gaga’s recent string of hits-the song doesn’t sound like a departure at all. The beat may be a little faster, but the sound is pure Backstreet Boys, and while that may not mean anything from an artistic standpoint (the song is pleasant enough but doesn’t really do anything for me), I betcha their fans lap this one up.
