Eli Young Band ”Even If It Breaks Your Heart”

The Eli Young Band didn’t do anything all that different with this song written and originally recorded by singer-songwriter Will Hoge in 2009 – which means they do this song right. Sure, the production’s a little cleaner, Young’s voice is a little more youthful, but the main difference between this version and Hoge’s original is that Hoge is actually making money off of this version, which topped the country charts this past spring and, hopefully, introduced Will Hoge’s music to a bunch of people who’d never heard of him before.
