While most other kids loved the Christmas season because Santa Claus was coming to town, the present I most looked forward to was that Sunday between Christmas and New Year’s when Casey Kasem would expand his weekly Top 40 countdown into an all-day marathon counting down the Top 100 hits of the year.
For the last four years, in honor of Casey’s Top 100, I’ve been compiling and counting down my own Top 100 hits of the year on my Facebook page. Here’s my list for 2012:
