This Mississippi band took the local success of their first single, Kryptonite, and through a tireless and intensive campaign of live performances, whipped the resultant frenzy from a regional level to a national one. Like Matchbox Twenty and Stone Temple Pilots, 3DD mixes alt rock attitude with classic rock accessibility. This appealing blend has so far netted them two hit albums, the more recent of which has gone gold. The frenzy continues, the whipping unabated.
