  • First Look – Britney Spears’ “3”

    Nope, there are no instances of Britney and two other people getting it on and knocking boots in this video, though with what the song is about, you wouldn’t be surprised.

    Instead, it’s just Britney in different stages of dress (or undress) dancing around for no reason whatsoever. And in this video, her look creeps me out a bit. I’m not sure if it’s the wacky wigs or the leotards or the fact that she’s flashing her pressed up cleavage all over the place, but I don’t think she looked that good at all.

    Go ahead. Disagree with me.

    I can’t say I’m surprised.

    It seems that with every new Britney Spears’ adventure, we get some sort of created controversy, which can be another way of saying that her people just like getting her name back in the headlines.

    According to RollingStone.com, this is the first single off her upcoming late November hits album called The Singles Collection.

    3 seems to be about, well, a three-some.

    It’s definitely features more of a dance-vibe and I imagine that they just want to get Brit back in the clubs.

  • You Want Your VMAs!!!

    The MTV Video Music Awards, an industry institution since 1984, are airing from New York on Sunday. As those of you who have watched this awards show before know, the event can either be dead boring (like the Vegas misadventure in 2007) or a hot mess (the legendary Britney/Madonna/Christina kiss). What will happen in 2009? Who knows? With nominees ranging from Kanye West and Eminem to Britney Spears, it should be a pretty interesting event, and this show is usually good for a surprise or two. One rumor is that Janet Jackson will perform as a tribute to her brother Michael. Now that will definitely be a must-see moment. Keep your eye here on Sunday, as we will be live-blogging the VMAs.
