Sia Furler is an Australian singer-songwriter who did moody Tori Amos-ish piano ballads when she wasn’t crooning for late-to-the-party trip-hopsters Zero 7. But in the last few years, she’s turned her talents to the betterment of Euro style dance pop. Case in point: this song, which she co-wrote with British producers Reeva and Black. Ne-Yo used to do straight up youthful smooth-smoothie R&B but has lately turned his attentions also to the betterment of Euro style dance pop. Case in point: this song, produced by those great Norwegians known as Stargate. This song just makes me feel real, real good. My heart of darkness is, indeed, brought to light.
